Takeover Day is when museums, galleries, historic homes, archives and heritage sites across the UK invite young people aged 0-25 in to take over jobs normally done by adults.
Would you like to get involved in taking over a museum? We have put together a template letter for any school, uniformed group, home-educating group or family group that is interested in taking over a museum as part of Takeover Day.
You can download the letter via the link below and edit it to fit your organisation, then post or deliver it to your local museum. You could even share it on social media! Remember to tag us @kidsinmuseums.
