Our Mammoth Supporters enable us to continue our invaluable work to ensure museums around the UK are great places for children, young people and families to visit.
Our mission
Kids in Museums works with museums nationwide to make them more welcoming of children, young people and families. We want all children, young people and families to experience the transformational power of museums.
How you can help
Supporting us with a regular donation will help increase the number of children and young people participating in Takeover Day and Digital Takeover Day, expand the reach of our Kids in Museums Manifesto and Family Friendly Museum Award, and provide vital training and resources for museum staff.
How to be a Mammoth Supporter
Steppe Mammoth
£25 per month or £300 annual donation
Your donation will help us increase the number of children and young people involved with Takeover Day by funding the cost of a whole school class getting involved.
As a Steppe Mammoth, you will receive:
- an invitation to one Kids in Museums event per year
- an exclusive Mammoth Club pin badge featuring the Kids in Museums logo drawn by Sir Quentin Blake
- all our latest news in a monthly newsletter
- acknowledgement of your support on our website.
Woolly Mammoth
£10 per month or £120 annual donation
Your donation will help us to expand the reach of our Kids in Museums Manifesto by supporting free training for museum staff to implement it in their museum.
As a Woolly Mammoth, you will receive:
- an invitation to one Kids in Museums event per year
- an exclusive Mammoth Club pin badge featuring the Kids in Museums logo drawn by Sir Quentin Blake
- all our latest news in a monthly newsletter
- acknowledgement of your support on our website.
Mini Mammoth
£5 per month or £60 annual donation
Your support helps to ensure that judging the Family Friendly Museum Award remains open and accessible to all. Their donation covers the costs of one family being Undercover Family Judges.
As a Mini Mammoth, you will receive:
- an exclusive Mammoth Club pin badge featuring the Kids in Museums logo drawn by Sir Quentin Blake
- all our latest news in a monthly newsletter
- acknowledgement of your support on our website.
Become a Mammoth Supporter today
To become a regular supporter of Kids in Museums, please complete the following short form. You will then be directed to CAF Donate to set up your monthly donation or make an annual gift.
When you have been redirected, you will need to select the amount of your monthly gift.
Your support is eligible for Gift Aid, and this will also be taken care of by CAF Donate. Please add Gift Aid to your donation if you can. For every £10 you give, we received an additional £2.50 from Gift Aid.
