The Kent Mining Museum shares the story of the Kent Coalfield via tales of work, life, struggles and humor of working at the Kent pits (through personal loans and donations, archives and collections) in the words of the communities and miners themselves. Displays include short films, images, artefacts, interactive screens and games. Trail activities and code challenges await guests, dressing up, knex and jigsaws for small visitors. Sensory items are available to borrow for all ages.
