For the last month we’ve been inviting your feedback on our Kids in Museums Manifesto.
If you’d like to have your say on what makes museums and heritage venues family friendly, you have until 5pm on Thursday (28 February) to fill in our 15-minute survey.
Our Manifesto is a set of simple guidelines developed with children, young people and families and reflect what they feel makes museums welcoming and inclusive places. Since we launched the Manifesto back in 2004, nearly 900 organisations have signed up to show their commitment to welcoming visitors of all ages.
The Manifesto is also used by our undercover family judges to decide the winner of our Family Friendly Museum Award.
With your help, we’re now updating our Manifesto to ensure that it remains clear and fit for purpose in years to come.
