Writing & Talking National Saturday Club
Have you ever wondered how some real-life stories become well-known, while other people’s remarkable lives are barely talked about? Join the National Army Museum’s podcasting project with the National Saturday Club to find out more. Running every Saturday morning (10.00am to 13.00pm) from the 18th Feb, to 20th May 2023.
We will take a deep dive into the museum’s archive and collections to discover more about the little-known people who served around the world with the British Army. Club members will work with museum staff and a podcast producer to build up their research and life-writing skills before creating their own podcast to bring their story to life.
Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
