It\u2019s the new Sir Quentin Blake illustrated Kids in Museums Manifesto \u2013 eight easy steps to help a museum welcome children and families published today (26 January 2017).<\/p>\n<p>From Say \u2018Hello!\u2019 to never say \u2018No\u2019, from child-height stair rails to Tell your story and include their stories too, the Kids in Museums Mini Manifesto is a simple, easy to understand guide to what families and children want and need on a visit.<\/p>\n<p>Kids in Museums listened to families and museums, who said they wanted a Mini Manifesto to work with alongside the 20-point Kids in Museums Manifesto. Small changes can have big impact. The Mini Manifesto empowers museums to make them, so families and children may benefit.<\/p>\n<p>Over 800 museums, heritage sites and visitor attractions are signed up in support of the Kids in Museums Manifesto.<\/p>\n<p>Kids in Museums is dedicated to making museums accessible to all children and families, in particular those who haven\u2019t visited before.<\/p>\n<p>Kids in Museums is celebrating the publication of the Kids in Museums Mini Manifesto at the Kids in Museums Carnival at Tate Moderns\u2019 new Switch House today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It packs a huge punch in over 800 museums but is small enough to fit in your pocket.
