Lively conversation, digital engagement and a carnival spirit are coming to Kids in Museums later this month.
The Kids in Museums Carnival is a free event aimed at museum and gallery professionals, and it will celebrate just what the organisation does to support putting children, young people and families at the heart of heritage.
Taking place at the new space in the Tate Exchange, the afternoon will allow visitors the chance to meet the Kids in Museums team, learn top tips, and find out more about the various training opportunities on offer. Young film-makers from Norfolk Museums will be showcasing their work, along with a guest appearance from Young People’s Poet Laureate for London, Caleb Femi. In true Kids in Museums fashion, visitors will also have the opportunity to experience a Takeover, as a group of young people from Tate Collective London will be offering a free tour. With plenty of time to network, set against stunning panoramic views, this is set to be a museum event like no other!
The event will take place on Thursday
26th January, from 2-5pm. For more information, please visit this website.
